Does the building need to sit on gravel or concrete? The only requirement is a level location. Our buildings are designed to rest directly on their skids. In order to level the building we use treated wood blocks. If you would like to have your building on concrete blocks, we only require that you provide the blocks. Fee is charges for block placement from delivery person. For the New Lakeside Cabin model it is required to have on a compacted gravel pad or concrete pad. For the Double Wide Buildings it is required to have a concrete slab.

What is required for site prep? You are only required to have a level ground within 6" of the building. We do recommend a CA -6 compacted pad. The pad should be 2' wider and 2' longer than the building. For example if you have a 10x16 building you will want your pad to be 12x18. This will give your building a nice support and distribute the weight. It will provide good drainage and air flow under your building to keep moisture away. This can be done by the customer or we can also provide for a pad to be installed. Cost will depend on size and the levelness of site. We do require pictures for pads. If you will be supplying a concrete pad please check the regulations in your area.
